It was a girls weekend with my 'girl gang' as we call ourselves. 5 bestie who grew up together since we were kids and are now all married with kids ourselves, some of who have even moved overseas. We are THAT old! lol. Or it feels like that when we all get together and share our stories of growing up over a warm fire and a charcuterie board.

This was no exception. A stunning post modern cement enclave, all angular and awkward amonst the naturally rolling hills of Tasmania's most historic town, Richmond.
Built by convicts from 1823, it is an Australian gem because of the way its history has been preserved and celebrated.

This was the view out onto the wineries, with an imposing pre 1900 manor staring back at our angular cement air bnb. Twilight. Quiet.  The dimming and fading light. The shadows casting their cold presence on the valley as the last bits of sun rays hide their warmth.  I now offer it up to you - and declare it officially for sale.
